By G. A. DICKSON, a resident of Smith County 57 years.
Affiant knew James H. SMITH, deceased, and his only heirs were: Katie WESSNER,
F. M. WESSNER, Janie MASON, Martin T. MASON, N. Ella SMITH, Mollie SMITH, and
Lena SMITH.

By Mary E. SMITH, a widow, resident of Smith County about 60 years.
Affiant was the only child and heir of E. M. EAKIN, deceased. He married one
time and that was to Isabella LONG who died about 1841 and E. M. EAKIN died
about 1841, both intestate. Affiant was a widow on February 13, 1883 when she
conveyed the E. M. EAKIN Survey in Smith County.

Affiant is the son of W. B. BUTLER, deceased, who left his wife E. D. BUTLER,
and one daughter Mary E. who married J. A. POWELL; five sons, Jesse S., W. B.,
J. W., A. F., and R. H. C. as his only heirs.

Sallie E, HALL is the daughter of Dr. A. C. NEAL and wife Mrs. A. C. NEAL. They
had four children:
Alice NEAL married E. B. ALFORD of Henderson, Texas about 30 years ago and
died about one year after their marriage leaving a two week old infant
who lived only about six months.
Sallie E. NEAL, now Sallie E. HALL, affiant.
R. C. NEAL who lived at Vernon and now Los Angeles
Gussie E. NEAL, a boy who died in Henderson about 28 years ago, age about
11 years.
Mrs. A. C. NEAL died intestate in Vernon about September 6, 1894. Dr. A. C.
NEAL died testate and his will was probated in Wilbarger County.
