a party in honor of the many
young folk that are going off to
attend college at different places,
and from all reports those at-
tending had the "niftiest" time
ever, playing Tennis and other
out door sports. About thirty-
five y^ung folks were present
who did justice to the
melons and other dainty refresh
ments. About nine o'Clock
they departed for their various
homes agreeing that the Dale
Sisters were charming enter-
tainers.

The ladies of the W. A. C.
were very pleasantly entertained
by Mrs. Leon Courtney Wednes-
day, Sept., 2nd. Members pre-
sent were Mesdames Grace, Mar-
klry, £ett. Kincade, Allinger,
Winnirgham, Teter. Hill, Court-
ney and Beyer with Mrs. Mark
Sharp as guest. Roll call was
responded to with scripture.
After busiress session Mrs. Irvin
Aliinger read a composition en-
titled "A g> od Citizens" Mrp.
Sharp rendered ttffo ptano select-
ions. Lunch of cherry ice cream,
two kinds of cake and ice tea was
served. Next meeting is to -be
on Wednesday, Sept., 16th with
Mrs. Grace as hostess.

Friday while a bunch of cattle
was being branded at the Flem-
ing Ranch, southeast of here,
Mr. Geo. Fleming, Sr., in some,
way or other had the misfortune
of getting pretty badly hurt by
one of the steers. He was taken
to the Shattuck Hospitai later
the same exening at which place
everything that could be done
was done for |^e relief of the
sufferer. We have been able
to learn how he is at this writ
ting, but hope everything is not
so bad as it seemed at firit.

afternoon. Its a new produce but
at this time has increased its
business a little better than
thr.e times since the fisit week.
And than on the side to ail those
entering this modern produce
were handed a drink of real
tasty lemonade that was some
swell believe us. Have you

dell, Okla., and from all reports
