real marionette enthusiast and
owner. His collection of marion-
ettes is rare, and each doll is a
real personality.
Phillip's interest in marionettes
dates back to the tender age of five
years when he acquired his first,
and today, at the age of 13, he owns
13 characters. No definite relation-
ship is found in the group, yet
many of them can be used on the
stage simultaneously. They are
Molly (just a lady), the Duchess (a
dancer), the Prince and Princess,
Pop-Eye and Olive Oil, two clowns,
Oscar, Lucifer and Lizza Lee, the
Pet Pup and Emily Ann.

They have their own stage, which
measures two and a half feet by
one and a half feet and which is
complete with lights, back drops
and adjustable scenery. A red
chiffon curtain completes the min-
iature theatre. Recordings are used
for music and human voices of
