A Mistake Made by Many.
When you suffer pains and aches
by day and sleep disturbing bladder
weakness by night, feel tired, ner-

bladder should be restored to healthy,

mistake to postpone treatment. Fo-

Six People Killed
In Auto Accident
(Continued from page 1)
statement as he sat trembling
from the shock he had experienc-
ed, and bleeding from a cut on
the lower lip:
"I left the home with, I think,
about twenty-five people a little
after 10 o'clock. They had been
out there assisting in an enter-
tainment for the children. Wo
had just crossed the White Rook
Creek bridge, about two miles
this side of the home, when 1
heard a car coining behind me
1 turned out to give the automo
bile room to pass and in doing so
turned too far, and the car wont
over the embankment.
"I hardly know what happened
during the next few seconds. I
felt myself being born down the
embankment with the car, but I
fell clear of the wreckage and 1
don't know whether 1 am hurt
or not. My shoulders are pain-
ing me and my head hurts; 1
can't hear from this side (indi-
cating the left side) and my
mouth is cut.
"I am 21 years old and was
raised at the home. The car is a
two-ton truck. I have been driv-
ing it th*ee years.
' I want to ask you not to let
anybody tell you I was driving
carlessly. 1 was driving slowly
and not speedinir. It is a bad,
dark place, and I just simply
turned too far out to let the car
pass that was coming behind mo.
'I realized immediately the
seriousness of the situation when
the car struck the bottom of the
embankment, ft was dark and
i climbed up the embankment to
the road and ran all the way to
Dallas and summoned help from
the Fair Park lire station."

Mesquite is Enjoying
A Substantial Growth
One of the best evidences of
the general prosperty of this
section and of the stability of the
town of Mesquite, is that the
town is enjoying a steady and
substantial growth. Perhaps but
few had thought about it, but it
is a fact that for a number of
years, there has scarckly been a
time when new buildings were
not in course of erection, and the
best part of it is that of the
buildings erected in the past
few years, whether residences
or business houses, the rule is
for a batter class of buildings
than was formerly the custom to
put up. Just a few years ago
there was not a toot of cement
sidewalk or a plate glass show
window in town. Face brick and
other ornimentation about the
business houses were also un-
known as far as Mesquite was
concerned. But this is not the
case now. The Kugel buildings,
on the west side of the public
square, the new Humphreys
Vanston building on the east,
the First National Bank build
ing, at the northwest corner, as
well as the Snyder and Guaranty
State Bank buildings, now Hear-
ing completion, at the northeast
corner, are all modern, subs tan
| tial brick buildings that would
do credit to a larger town than
Mesquite. The same can be
said of the home of Mrs. Wm.
Sharfenburg, recently complet-
ed, and of the Joe H. Rugel
bungalow, soon to ho ready for
occupancy, and of practically
every other homo built within
the past few years.
The moving of the Walker
livery barn and the widening of
the street east of the square was
a big improvement.
There are other evidences of
improvement, as several homes
are being remodeled and en-
larged, but the most notable
fact, as stated above, is that for
the past few years big crops or
little, high prices or low prices,
war or no war Mesquite just
keeps on getting to be a little
bigger and ulcer town.
