The First Christian church Sun-
day school tree program will be
Friday evening at 7:00 o'clock.

present. This will be their last
meeting with the Moran church, as
Hev, Harper has been called by a
Dallas church.
Mr. *11)1 Mr . Oicar Witt* will
join Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Anderson
at Abilene and! spend Sunday and
Monday with Mrs. Dave Pliner at
Lone Wolf, Okla. Mrs, I'liner is
a sister of Mr. Wise and Mrs. An-
derson.
Dr. and Mr*. R. E. Forretter had
as over-night guests last Wednes-
day Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Carlen of
Halbrook, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs.
Charles H. Chancy entertained the
Nebraska visitors and Dr. and Mrs.
Forrester with a dinner Wednes-'
day evening. .

Hertram Klliott.

daughters: U. A. Klliott and Ray
Klliott, Mrs. H. R. Roberts of Mo-
ran and Mrs. Douglas Anderson of
Hreckenridge.
Mr. Klliott is in his SKth year
and Mrs. Elliott 71. They have
four grandeh:Mren: Mrs. J. I!.
Montgomery of Dallas, Ray Ander-
son of Hreckenridge, Reagan and
Wade Robert-, both students at A.
& M. They have a great grandson,
Ross Klliott Montgomery, of Dal-
las.

rooms were golden chrysanthe
mums, yellow ro e buds, jonquils,
snap dragon, and smilax.

bow! of lovely golden rose bud-l

tier wedding cake, Hetty Klliott
poured coffee from a silver serv-
ice set, assisted by Hetty Morris.
Mr.-. J. ('. Dyer, Jr., a niece, pre-
sided at the register.
Mrs. Hay Klliott displayed the
gifts. Music by Mr.-. Garland
Shelton, Mrs. H. K. Forrester, Mrs.

Harper, was enjoyed during the
calling hour. .

Pep Squad Banquet
Some J 24 guestH attended the
annual Moran football pep sf|uad
banquet in the high school gym-
nasium Monday evening, Dec. 1! ,
at 7:30. Rev. W. M. Gaston gave
the invocation. Charles ft. Chaney
served a.s toastmaster.
The hall was defked in the
Christmas theme with greenry and
red streamer. A large silver
Christmas tree was behind the
speaker's table. Program and plate
favors were a Santa Claus boot.
Lighted candles decorated the win-
dows and hall. The tables were
laid in white, centered with native
mistletoe and red berries with
lighted candles.
The menu consisted of baked
chicken, gravy arid rolls, sweet po-
tatoes, English peas, salad, pie
and coffee.
Donna English gave the wel-
come and the response was made
by Kdwin Kirkman. Coach Woin-
ack was the principal speaker.
Others on the program were: foot-
ball round-up by Jack Hagar, piano
included Kmory Morris of Moran;
a niece, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stain,
and baby, Sandra Ode.-sa, and Mr.
arid Mrs. Dick Smart and sons, of
Weatherford.
An old time friend of the fam-
ily, Dr. Charles H. Harris, and hi
grandson, Charles H. II, and great
grandson, Charles H. Harris III,
all of Fort Worth, were present.
Callers and gifts arrived until
after (i p. m. Two hundred guests
registered for this lovely occasion.

Delorios Henry.
AJter the benediction by Sup-
erintendent McKinney the jruesis
went to the bleachers where Coach
Womack showed four reels of foot-
ball pictures.
