Dr. and Mrs. George W. Daw-
■on, Jr., and children, fcan, 12, and
Diana, 10, have moved to Albany
to live. Dr. Dawson is establishing
an office here to practice surgery
and medicine.
The Dawsons come to Albany
from Abington, III., where he
practiced 14 years. His father was
a pioneer practicing physician at
Dalhnrt, Texas, where his mother
still lives. A brother is a surgeon
with the Veterans hospital at Mc-

Mrs. H. V. Adamsen, conducted

Interment will be In the Al-
bany cemetery under direction of
Custleberry Funeral home.
Mrs, Adamsen, who had been ill
for several months, passed away
at her home on Six Mile Hill west

morning.

She and her husband, who is em

The First Marine Division
fought their way out of the trap
In the mountains. They got out
pretty well beaten and they lost a
hell of ti lot of equipment but
they got out. Well, the big pic-
ture decided to get us out of
Hiimghiing-Hiingnau area, so we
went right aboard ship. I was
alerted night before last, so I
broke out and got all ready to go,
then they cancelled the LST I was
to go on, so we jn t slept in and
on the tanks for the night. Then
yesterday morning we moved out
to the bench area, finally got all
it lie company to the -taking area
