a similar collection, but she only
got 95 pairs the first year, compar-
ed with 245 sets belonging to Mrs.

been in Parkland hospital with a
broken hip, returned home Tues-
day. She will be in a cast until Sep-
tember.
Mrs. Minnie Locke who under-
went an operation at Parkland Mon-
day, August 5, is much improved.
Mrs. Lee Brlsendine is slowly im-
proving.
Miss Onita Cole spent the week-
end in Forney with Mrs. Ed Munn.
UNION MET AT
WHITE ROCK LAKE
The Young Peoples Union of the
Greenville District met Monday
night, August 14, at White Rock
for a picnic.
The Mesquite Union was repre-
sented by sixteen young people. Fol-
lowing the picnic supper, the group
was led in a sing-song by Johnny
Cook and Sammie Farler. The next
meeting will be September 11 at Col-
lege Mound.
