Heard not much so not too much
to say. Josephine & I just returned
from the Eastern Chapter held at
The Marriott in Philadelphia. It
was a good time week end. Al and
Edith Lipschultz and Ed and Mar-
lene Tadych helped make our trip
worth while. The weather man tried
to stop us many times but we
ignored him. Lou and Adele Koci
tried but the weather made it im-
possible. We took a reading of the
barometer and it forecasts a good
turn out for the big one.
Vince Mancinelli (82nd) did a
beautiful job. I wonder if he ever
got caught up with his sleep or did
the sleep ever get caught up with
him. By the way he was the one
that did the streak. I got a picture
to prove it. Goodby words were like
these, "See you in Minneapolis".
I talked to Tilford Julson in far
away Minot, N. D. He promises a
big turn out for the big one. See,
the barometer was right.
Received a note from Rev. Thom-
as A. Donovan (CCR), an old buddy
of mine. He is pastor of St. Pat-
ricks Church in Galveston, Texas.
Hope to meet some day. Try hard
for the big one Tom.
Bill Emslie still working (28
years worth). Retiring is a nasty
word. Bill and Ailene have two
daughters; Kathleen, graduating
from the College of St. Rose in Al-
banv. N. Y. and Karen a junior at
Shaker High School in Latham,
N. Y. The best to you all.
Frank Devers likes us very much.
During the winter months all of
the 152 are invited to Palm Beach,
Fla. He still has some booze left
from last winter. Never runs out.
He must make the stuff.
Walter Cohn is with us again. I
remember when he wrote a column
at Camp Shanks. Remember Blanks
at Shanks ? What a memory. Will
never forget you Walter.
Harold Hendricks informs us
that we stand like so. We have 62
actual paid members dIus 25 from
boosters for a total of 87. The 1973-
1974 membership was a combined
total of 113. Can't we please make
it at least 100 by time the Minn-
eapolis get together comes around.
Try real hard. I know we can do it.
It is only one month away. Every-
body get ready.
Be horning in next month.
