buddies, let me know how many and I'll send you extra copies of the next
issue of the Hellcat News and all you have to do is address them, place
a two cent stamp on each one and place it in the mail. If you desire
to write a personal letter to send along with*the News in long hand it
will cost you three cents an ounce to mail it or if you Have your per-
sonal letter mimeographed you can still get by with the two cents post-
age. Anyone else have any ideas on how to handle this situation? Let
me know and we'll see if they have merit, afterall we do heed and want
new members. If every member would volunteer to address and mail 100
to 200 of these complimentary copies of the News we sure would be set
ting on top of the world, wwh.
Robert H* Rupert (Hq 119) P0 Box 525> Kittanning, Pa. Received
Hellcat News today. Am sending in my advanced registration fee'for the,
1953 Reunion in Detroit. Ifm looking forward to having a good time
there. I am also sending in membership dues for Curtis G. Peck, 493rd
FA, who lives at ftoutzdale, Pa. He didn't know of the Division Associa-
tion being in existance. So a new member we have picked up. He is not
sure if he will get to Detroit or not. He is married now, has a set of
twins, girls and one boy and then a set of twins, boys. He doesn't
believe in fooling around. Tonight I'm sending in my reservation to the
Statler Hotel. So I am really planning on being there. Best of luck
to you and keep up the good work. ...

Thanks very much for sending me the May copy of the News. It has been
a very great pleasure and I think you £re doing a fine job. I too have
not been a good subscriber but will try to do better in the future.
Enclosed is my check for a years dues and a little more. I'm still in
the Reserves and will go to summer camp August 9 to 23rd at Fort Riley.
If any of the old boys of the 12th are there or will be there I would
like to know. I realize these are close to' the Reunion dates. Would
like to be there but doubt it this year, maybe next year. Thanks again.
Owen P. Schumacher (B 493) Mitchell Avenue, Batesvilie, Indiana.
Enclosed is a check for four dollars to cover my delinquent dues for
year ending October 1, 1953 and also dues for following year. I enjoyed
so much seeing the gang at Cincinnati and had such good intentions of
keeping in touch with tiie Association, but a busy schedule and a family
made it difficult to the extent that I even failed to pay my dues.
Please accept the apology. If I recall correctly, I was supposed to
send in news as I could collect it, but from my geographical location,
it is^impractical to visit my old buddies, and about all I hear from
them is cards at Christmas and an occasional birth announcement. It
would really be nice to get the entire crowd together, but even though
the reunions are a success, there are still so many that no word is
ever heard from, I guess I am a wishful thinker. Thanks for the regu-
lar communications which you sent and I hope to keep hearing from you.
I'll try to keep current from now on. With kindest regards.

Please accept my two dollars'for dues in the Association. I was with
C Company, 23rd Tank Battalion larch 1944 to July 1945. I plan to at-
tend the Reunion at Detroit and have already sent my reservation to the
Statler Hotel. Bill Costello, already a member of the Ass'n and also a
former member of C 23 will accompany me. Hope to see many of our old
