would like to see the membership adopt.
Mrs. Winston Ball (D/714) seems to lean

PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE
Another month — another
message and the news is good.
Dues renewals are coming in
good. We are ahead of tnis time
last year and ilfi you haven't
done so — send yours in with-
out delay. Remember the holi-
day season is just around the
corner and it just miay slip your
mind. We sure would hate to
have it dawn on you after the
first of the year that the rea-
son you were no longer getting
the Hellcat News was because
you overlooked sending in your
dues .now.
We had a very pleasant Sun-
day, September 2 when First
Vice President Miller, Second
Vice President Rupert, Treasurer
Finley and their families were
able to meet with us here at
our home for a discussion of
association activities. Photog-
rapher and Reporter Nick Har-
dony who was also present,
promised us he would send in
a report for the Hellcat News.
If you don't find it elsewhere in
the News, you know where the
finger is pointing.
Now you can start planning
for next year Our 1960 Reunion
in Charlotte, North Caroline
will be held August 4 thru 6.
The place is the Charlotte Ho-
tel. Our good friends in the
Southeast corner otf our great
country are going to have the
opportunity to prove to us whe-
ther we can successfully take
our reunion out of the orbit we
have been traveling in since
the end oif the war. Going so
far South means that along with
many of our regular attenders
at reunions, we are going to
have to get a lot of local sup-
port in new memberships and
reunion attendance. We are con-
fident they will come through
famously and am sure they wel-
come the opportunity to extend
their hospitality to the members
of the 12th Armored Division
Association in 1960. Plan now
to be there with us
