Alabama, arrived Monday for a
visit with his daughter, Mrs. Har-
ry Hall. He was accompanied by
his grandson, George Holt, who
has decided he would rather stay
with his mother and go to school
than to spend the winter in Mont-

Mrs. P. R. Dawdy, who spent
part of the week with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rowles,
.returned to her home in Blessing
Tuesday.

Ernest Claybourne, wife and
two children drove down from
Dallas, arriving Monday, for a
visit at the home of Ernest's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Clay-
bourne.
Mr. Alexander and four chil-
dren, of El Campo, who have
been visiting Mrs. Alexander's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Sullivan, returned to their home
Wednesday.
Mr. John Ralston drove to
Houston Monday to accompany
his nephew, Douglas Ralston, on
his first lap of his return to his
home in Wstfahachie. Mr. Rals*
ton said he drove all the way in
the mud Tuesday, until almost to
Palacios, and he feels for the
present that he will confine his
driving to shorter distances.
