Houston were here to attend the
graduation of their granddaughter
and sister, Miss Andrea Peoples.
Dr. and Mrs. Norman E. Runyon
left Monday for a vacation and to
attend the annual convention of the
Texas State Chiropractic Associa-
tion. They will visit relatives in
Missouri, Oklahoma and in Dallas
before returning to Houston to
attend the Chiropractic Convention
in the Rice Hotel. They expect to
return to P&lacios on June 16.
Mr. and Mrs. George Stevenson
of Victoria were week end visitors
in Palacios.
Approximately 140 people at-
tended the 3rd Annual Jackson
County Field Day and Tour. Me-
morial Day. at noon everyone was
served a delicious catfish dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. David Boiling, Jr.
of College Station arrived home
Tuesday. Kenneth Brandon went
to Corpus Christi last week to help
hif sister, Ann. move home for
the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Batchelder
