Little Miss Colleen .To Smith is vis-
iting her aunt, Mrs. C. S. Douglas, of
Citrus Grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davis spenfe sev-
aral days in Midfield with their daugh-
ter, Mrs. Cornelius.
Captain Hicks' boat arrived Tues-
day morning with over 1,100 pounds
of fish for the Liberty Fish and Oys-
ter Co.
Mrs. C. j Williams, Mrs. B. R.
Dobson and M Gertie Dobson, all of
Blessing, wen. Palacios visitors Wed-
nesday.
Mrs. W. • Brown, who has been
visiting her ton in Clarendon, Texas,
for the past1 month, returned home
Tuesday.
B. H. Harvard and son, of Crosby-
ton, Texas, are spending the winter in
Palacios and are located on the B. Y.
P. U. Grounds.
Mrs. Sam Primm has returned to
her home in Houston, after a pleasant
week end visit with her brother, Jack
Hill and family.
Otto Gent, Deputy Collector of In-
ternal Revenue, of Waco Division, was
registered at Hotel Palacios for a two
days stay this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Finch and two daugh-
ters, Miss Elizabeth and Mattie Sue,
of Blessing, visited the J. C. Wilkerson
family for the week end.
D. M. Tate, salesman in Rogers'
Grocery Store is on the sick list this
week and is taking a few days rest
from his place in the store.
Mrs. Sadie Watts, who is just re-
cuperating from a recent illness re-
turned with her son, Arthur Havin,
for an extended visit in Houston.
Jack Boiling, traviing representa-
tive of Draughon's Business College,
of Houston, was in Palacios several
days this week, soliciting new students
J. M. Paulk, of Oklahoma, is visit-
ing his brother, D. D. Paulk. Mr.
Joe Smith, also of Oklahoma, came
down with Mr. Paulk and expects to
remain in Palacios for a short time.
Agent V. L. Chasin, of Collegeport,
was in Palacios to meet his mother,
Mrs. W. W. Chasin, from Sabinal,
Texas. Mr. Chasin has recently been
transferred to Collegeport as agent
for the M. P., from Sinton.
