St. Ann's Altar Society
Meets In Blessing
St. Ann's Altar Society of St.
Peter's Church of Blessing met
August 13 in the parish hall with
14 members present.
Various reports were given and
Father Hamala gave a talk on
discussion clubs, the need for
teachers, etc. He also commented
on how glad he was to see the com-
mittees so active.
Mrs. Mozley gave a lalk on re-
treats. The Lady of Pillar in San
Antonio is to have a retreat the
first week in September, there are
also retreats every weekend in Ro-
sharon. Anyone desiring to make
a retreat should contact Father
Hamala. The parish will pay the
way of anyone who desires to at-
tend.
We are still in need of volunteers
for Grammar School children re-
ligion teachers.
As the Daily Visitors weren't
being taken it was decided to dis-
continue these and anyone want-
ing them could see Father Hamala
about subscribing for it.
It was decided that the members
receive communion in a body every
third Sunday at the first Mass.

were served by Ann Sullivan, Mrs.
