Albany to Close

Mr. and Mrs. Hill Hlackerby
were called to Waxahachie last
week by the death of his fath-
er, C. 11. Hlackerby. He died
at 12:30 p. m. Dec. in a Wax-
ahachie hospital. He had been
in declining health several
years, and has been seriously
ill since Thanksgiving.
Funeral was held at the Ru-
dolph Funeral Home in Waxa-
hachie Thursday, Dec 7, and
burial was in a cemetery there.
Mr. Hlackerby, SO, was horn
July 5, 1S75. He was a re-
tired farmer.
Surving are his wife; five
sons, Clyde and Tom of Waxa-
hachie, Aaron of Lancaster, Bill
of Albany and Clarence of
Houston; three daughters, Mrs.
Ann Harden of Waxahachie,
care of the customers. He sug-
gests that late mail can be sent
by air mail, or by special
handling to assure getting to
distant points before Christ-
mas.
Christmas cards may he sent,
unsealed, for 3c anywhere. If

card should be sent first class
so that it can be forwarded.

Music Sunday
The junior and regular
choirs of the First Baptist
Church will present a Christ-
mas service this Sunday night,
Dec. 17, at 7:00. The entire
service is made up of Christ-
mas music, using the two
choirs, solos, duets, and quar-
tets.
The music will be climaxed
with the singing of Fred Wait-
ing's arrangement of "The Bat-
tle Hymn of the Republic."
The choirs are directed by
