week from North Carolina
where he had been playing base
ball. He went to Ranger this
week to join the Sweetwater
team of the We-t Texas league
provided he could make a satis-
factory trade with them. John
has been playing professional
ball for years and is a "mighty"
hitter.

and daughter, Miss Minnie, Roy

two, and as his advent increas-

he is a weleome visitor.

obviously having trouble with
