There was quite a crowd went
down from Albany and nearly
all of Moran was there. Tbe
entertainment was first class.
Miss Bertha Bizzell is to be con-
gratulated for the success of
the entertainment. The dialog's
and recitations were real good.
The patrons and the trustees
of Sedwick school are highly
pleased with Miss Bertha's
school work throughout the
term. At the close Major Sam
Webb thanked the audience in
behalf of the teacher and
patrons of the school for their
presence and good attention

NEWCOMB & CO.
We take pleasure in announcing to our many customers and friends that we
have recently purchased the entire grocery stock of Eli Meyer & Co., and will continue
the business at Meyer & Oo.'s old stand, at which place we will be glad to greet our
customers and friends. Our stock will at all times be complete with everything that
the market will afford, and our motto will be what it has always been: Good goods at
»
living prices. We extend to the people of Albany our heartfelt thanks for their kindly-
assistance during the fire, for their heroic work in removing the goods from the burn-
ing building. We thank one and all for services rendered, and the many kindly ex-
pressions of sympathy. We are now better prepared than ever to cater to the trade.
