Sgt. Beeler Beaird, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ike Beaird, Mineral
Wells, has been wounded in Bel-
gium. He was wounded once
before in the battle of St. Lo.
Cpl. Louis Mackey, son of Mr.
and Mrs. T. M. Mackey of Miner-
al Wells, died of wounds received
on Leyte, December 29th. His
parents, five sisters and a broth-
er survive.

this suit is as follows, to-wit:
Suit for divorce on the grounds of
cruel treatment, as is more fully shown
by plaintiff's petition on file in this suit.
The officer executing this process
shall promptly execute the same ac-
cording to law, and make due return as
the law directs.

sentatives of Mrs. Janie Hutton
Beard and L. N. McMinn, whose resi-
dences are unknown, and the unknown
heirs and legal representatives of Mrs.
Janie Hutton and L. N. McMinn, de-
ceased, whose name and residence is
unknown, and the unknown heirs and
legal representatives of all the above
named parties, and the unknown own-
er and owners of the hereinafter des-
cribed property and their heirs and
legal representatives whose names
and places of residence are unknown,
and all other persons owning, having
or claiming any interest or lien in the
property hereinafter described.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED
AND COMMANDED to appear and
defend at the first day of the next reg-
ular term of the District Court of Palo
Pinto County, Texas, to be held at the
Court House thereof in the Town of
Palo Pinto, Palo Pinto County, Texas,
at or before ten o'clock A. M., on the
4th Monday in February, A. ~D. 1945,
the same being the 26th day of Febru-
ary, A. D., 1945, then and there to
answer a petition in a delinquent tax
suit filed in said court on the 29th day
of January, A. D. 1945, in a suit num-
bered 13180, styled City of Mineral
Wells vs. Mrs. Janie Hutton Beard
et al, on the docket of said court in
which City of Mineral Wells are plain-
tiffs, and Mineral Wells Independent
School District and State of Texas,
and Palo Pinto County, Texas, are
impleaded party defendants, and show
cause why judgment shall not be ren-
dered condemning said hereinafter
described property and ordering sale
and foreclousure therof for said taxes,
penalties, interests, and costs of suit.
Said suit is a suit to collect taxes,
interest, penalties, and cost on the fol-
lowing described property:
Lot Number Six (6) in Block Num-
ber Thirty-Four (34), Hitt Addition to
the City of Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto
County, Texas.
The amount of taxes alleged to be
delinquent, due, owing, and unpaid for
the respective years and in the re-
spective amounts for each of said
plaintiffs, on the above described
property is as follows:

ants that are taxing units also seek
the establishment and foreclosure of
the lien securing payment of such
taxes as provided by law.
The officer executing this writ shall
promptly serve the same according to
requirements of law, and the man-
dates hereof, and make due return as
the law directs.
