visited the school Thursday
afternoon as she was a pupil of
Mr Wilsons several years ago
at Vigo She and her mother were
shopping In Tulia Thursday
Elmo Pete Lumpklns who was
behind with his sleep as he had
been driving the tractor at nights
went in town Thursday night and
worked at Bill Wyricks station
until 2 oclock Friday morning
he started driving home and when
in three miles of home he fell
asleep at the wheel and ran into
a culvert The first thing he knew
he was ptsMng through the windshield

gathered at the Love school build
ing for lunch Mr Palmore was
nowhere to be seen We guessed
he was at Mrs Herrings in her
absence feasting on chicken
Blllye Hancock was a dinner
I guest in the R E Lumpkins home

family were shopping in Amnrillo

I suppose everyone was greatly
surprised at seeing a snow on
arising Saturday morning accompanied
by a cold north wind
