An estimated 100 officers will
attend the school with the first
group meeting to be held at the
high school Tuesday, June 1.

In obedience to an order of the
Board of Equalization, regularly
convened and sitting, notice is here-
by given that said Board of Equali-
zation will be in session at its reg-
ular meeting place in the Palacios
Independent School District's Tax
Office in the town of Palacios, Mat-
agorda County, Texas at nine
o'olock A. M. on Friday the 28th
day of May, 1965 for the purpose
of determining, fixing and equal-
izing the value of any and all tax-
able property situated in the Pa-
lacios Independent School District,
of Matagorda and Jackson Coun-
ties, Texas, for taxable purposes
for the year 1965, and any and all
persons interested or having busi-
ness with said Board are hereby
notified to be present.
