Conference of National Association
of Bank Auditors and Comptrollers.
The meeting Is held monthly, ex-
cept during summer months, and
this one was November 27, in the
Kemp Hotel.
The meetings are dinner meet-
ings, starting at 6:30, followed by a
technical program. The subject of
discussion was "Destruction of
Bank Records".

Cpl. Bob Lawson has been here
on a visit with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. A. Lawson. following his dis-
charge from the army. Bob had
been in the service for two years,
with most of the time being spent
at Tacoma. Wash. Previous to that
he had taken his basic training in
California.
During his stay at Tacoma. Cpl.
Lawson had held down a desk job
in arm headquarters there. He en-
joyed his work all right. a£d in a
j way it was a training for him that
will help in civilian life.
At the time of his induction Mr.
Lawson had been working in the
I office of the T. & P. Railway Com-
pany at Dallas, and he is going
back to that work now. He will
leave Saturday, and begin work on
December 15th.
