Dallas Woman Dies While
Freezing Cream for a
House Full of Guests

DALLAS, Tex., May 20. Mrs. Cora A.
Flagg, aged 54 years', prominently asso-
ciated with several Dallas lodges, was
found in a dying condition on her rear
porch Sunday evening and died shortly
afterward. She was making ice cream
for a number of friends who had called
on her and when she was missed they
went out to look for her. Cerebral hemor-
rhage was given as the cause for her
death. She was vice grand of the Dal-
las Lodge of Rebeccas, and was an offi-
cer of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Broth-
erhood of Railway Trainmen, besides be-
ing a member of several other lodges. Her
husband, George H. Flagg, and one daugh-
ter survive.

gan falling here Saturday late and con-
tinued far Into the night. Nine miles
south of Anson hail swept through the
country, obliterating all crops in its path
and particularly heavy damage to fruit.

ANNAPOLIS, Md., May 29 Two rei
ans, William F. Loventhal of Beaumont,
and Clinton W. Hamill, of Temple, are
among the highest fifty midshipmen on
the roll of this year's graduating class at
the I nited States Naval Academy. While
not among those graduating with the
"Star" grade, nine in number, Loventhal
and Hamill were on the honor roll an-
nounced today. First honors will be taken
by Midshipman Henry M. Mullenix of
Indiana, out of a class of ITS graduates.
Of the nine who* will graduate with the
"Star" grade, having obtained 8T> per cent
or better for the entire grade, it is in-
teresting to note that three of these are
from Indiana and three from Massachu-
setts, the other three being from as many
different Stales.
The names of the "Star" graduates with
their marks for the course, the possible
maximum being 800, are as follows: Henry
