Dr. Combs' first sermon to the Prospect Hill

emphasized the fact that the model churcln
llkl* the church which grew out of Pentecost,
must be a church of right doctrine, the doc-
trine of the .Apostles^ that Jesus was the son of
God, the world's Saviour and Lord, that men
must repent of sin and believe in Jesus Christ
to be saved, and that they must ever afterward
live holy lives. The speaker also pointed out
that the church must lie strong in fellowship
and brotherhood; that it must be a praying
church, and a liberal church, and last of all a
serviug aud sacrificing church.
