In Auto Collision
CEDAR HILL
Rev. and Mrs. El don Tr aster
escaped with only minor injuries
following a collision Monday
morning which badly damaged
their car.
The accident occurred Monday
morning shortly before noon on
Highway 67 just north of Belt Line
Road. Rev. Traster was uninjured,
and Mrs. Traster received a slight
blow on the nose They were on
their way to a meeting of pastors
and their wives, and had left their
young son with Mrs. Prances Bray.
Damage to the other vehicle, a
pickup truck driven by Andy
Anderson, was negligible.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Bubinek has been sick.

also met with the council to discuss
an agreement for mutual assistance
between the base and the Fire
Department. Assistant Fire Chief
Charlie Sims represented the
Volunteer Fire Department. The
City Council will work with the
two groups, and City Atty. H. Louis
Nichols will prepare an agreement
which will be signed by Mayor
E. M. Hastings, Major Beighley,
and Mr. Sims.
Two daughters of Mrs. W. L.
Jones were auto collision Wednes-
day morning. Dorothy went to
hospital for observation.
Mrs. E. L. Deever has been in
the hospital and is reported much
improved.

the high school gymnasium. As a
special part of the program, the
Polio Queen will be presented and
crowned. Presenting toe crown will
be little Johnnie Knight. Since
there are no little girls in this
area who have been polio patients,
six-year-old Cynthia Lee Parrent
of Dallas will represent the Polio
Foundation in presenting a cor-
sage to the queen. County Fire
Marshal Hal H. Hood will be
master of ceremonies and auc-
tioneer for the evening. The Filthy
Five will present the musical
entertainment.
Following the benefit fashion
show Monday night, the total re-
ceived by the Cedar Hill polio
campaign was $693.88. The Mohon
M&M Dress Shop sponsored the
style show Monday and presented
models of Cedar Hill and Duncan-
ville. Ushers were Donna Moore
and Linda Forbis. Mrs. Gladys
Potter assisted behind scenes and
Mrs. Frances Vines was mistress
of ceremonies.

Hit by Burglars
CEDAR HILL
Boe Butler Motor Company was
burglarized last Thursday night,
but nothing was reported missing.
This makes the sixth burglary in
this area since Jan. 5. Sheriff's
officers still have no suspects.
Only damage was to the lock on
the door. Contents of drawers in
the office were emptied on the
floor.
Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Mauldin have
a new granddaughter, Joyce Mar-
gurite Mauldin, She was born Jan.
19 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Ft.
Worth. Her parents are Mr. and
Mrs. John Mauldin, and her sister
is Gail, aged 2. And everybody
is doing just fine, said Grandma
