THE HERITAGE 0? WOE.
Misery, shame and agony often bequeathed
as a sole legacy to children by parents, is
neglected Scrofula. To cleanse the blood
of this hereditary poison, and thus remove
the most prolilie cause of human suffering,
to clear the skin of disfiguring humors,
itching tortures, humiliating eruptions, and
loathsome sores caused by it, to purify and
beautify the skin, and to restore the hair so
that no trace of the disease remains, Cuti-
ci.'ra Resolvent, the new blood purifier,
diuretic* and aperient, and Cuticura and
Cuticura soar the great skin cuiesand
beautiliers, are infallible.

COPPER-COLORED.
I have been afflicted witn troublesome
ekin disease, covering almost completely
the upper part of my body, causing mv skin
to assume a copper-colored hue. It'could
be rubbed off like danrhfi', and at times
causing intolerable itching and the most
intense/suffering. I have used blood puri-
fiers, pills and other advertised remedies,
but experienced no relief until I procured
the Cuticura Remedies, which although
tn-od carelessly and irregularly, cured me,
allaying that terrible itching, and restoring
my skin to its natural color. I am willing
to, make affidavit to the trut' of this state-
ment,

Ihe heaviest war being made

One of the enemies of the Attorney.
General has circulated a report that
Brewster recently visited the White

of gossip includes one item of fact.
I he Attorney-General is not in the
best of standing with the President.
His management of his department
has been the subject of too much ad-

is personally valueless as an adviser.
It will not he easy to get rid ot Brew-
