Resolved, That we, the members of the
Northwestern Ohio Editorial Association,
refuse from this date to give any foreign
advertiser a special jxjsition in our papers,
and that we will not ssn-l a copy of our
paper to such foreign advertiser, unless he
pays lull price for the same, when the
contract is less than $20.
Resolved, That we will hereafter make
it a point in contracting with foreign ad-
vertisers to fix the prices so that they will
net us as gofod prices as we charge our reg-
it iar home advartisers,
Resoived, That it be the duty of each
member of this Association to inform by
mail his brethren when a delinquent sub-
scriber moves into his county or town;

Bec. 50 The homestead of a fam"y shall he,
and is hereby protected from forced sale for the
payment ot all deh's, ox.:ept for the purchase
money thereof, or a pa t of such purchase money
ihe taxes due thereon, or for work and material
used in construsting improvements thereon; aud
in t.hib la«t caie only when the work and material
are contracted for iu writing, with the consent of
the wife, given in tho> same maimer as Is requirod
in mnkiag a sale and conveyance of the home-
Read; or shall the owner, if a married man, sell
the homestead withcut the consent of thi wife,
given in such manner as may be prescribed by
law. No mortgage, trust deed or other lien shall
ever he Va'id, except for tbe purchase money
therefor or improvements made thereon, as here-
inbefore provided, whetber such mortgage or
trust, deed or oth_jr lieti shall havo heeli created
by tbe liusbnnd alone or together with his wife;

which may be in one or more parcels, with the
