What Shall I Wear For Fall ?
This question has been asked many times by the women of Bell county in the last week or two,
and now that our buyers have returned and the goods are on display, we can intelligently an-
swer the above question. The answer will be found below in a brief description that we give
of the latest arrivals. However, any description we might give will fall short of adequately
describing their beauty. We would rather you see them. The fashion store more than ever
upholds its reputation for character, exclusivencss, diversity and reasonableness of our price.
Our stock is a veritable style show. There s a gorgeous assortment of styles waiting your ap-
proval. Come Tomorrow.
Betty Wales Serge Dresses New Arrivals in Fall Suits
AltK NKOES8AUY TO KVEKY WOMAN'S
WAUDKOHK
There is only one thing: better than a Serge
Dress, and that's two Serge Dresses; one for
morning wear and shopping, another for dressy
occasions. Great as was the vogue of Serge
Dresses a year ago. it was but an introduction
to the vogue of this season. Not only has their
popularity grown, but also their beauty has
been enhanced. The models shown this season
are easily the handsomest we had previously.
There is a broader variety of models, and the
designing of each shows unusual thought and
attention to detail. It, will be a real pleasure
for us to show you the new Serge Dresses. We
are exclusive agents for the "BETTY WALES
Serge Dresses.
Serge Dresses from $10.00 up to
$35.00
We wish to call your especial attention to the
many late arrivals in our Suit Department. We
are ready to show you the most wonderfully
striking fashions in Coat Suits. They're really
masterpieces of the tailor's art, and we are
justly proud of this advance showing.
Trim-looking, indeed, are the new Suits with
their long semi-fitting coats and straight skirts.
Some are mannish, plain-tailored styles, others
show pleats, the*belt being an almost invari-
able feature of the coat.
Many women will wear Suits entirely without
fur trimming. The dressier Suits, however,
show quite an abundance of fur; velvets and
plushes are also used extensively as trimmings.
Military braid and black bone buttons are in
strong evidence by way of finish. Gloveskiu,
Burellas, Tricot ine, Velvets, Silvertone, Velour,
Oxfords, Velour de Laine, Poiret Twill, Gab-
erdine and Men's Wear Serge are the fabrics
of first favor.
New Fall Suits, $15.00 up to $65

sively correct in every detail are the Dresses shown here in a splendid array. The popularity
of Satins is unquestioned. Others are Crepe, Charmeuse, Taffetas, solid and fancy stripes.
There's a wealth of originality in every Dress shown, and we ask you to see them. II s a

New Fall Millinery!
IN SOFT VELVET EFFECTS
From every section of the country, as well as
from the fashion centers, comes the same story:
"Soft Velvet effects especially popular for early
Fall. These Hats we are showing are so new
that they are indeed refreshing—with the vel-
vet handled so cleverly that one is immediately
impressed with their smartness and fitness.
Large Hats and small, and many of betwixt
and between medium sizes, all with knowing
quirks of brim and adorable newness in the
shaping and height of crown.
Wonderful shades of coloring and new ideas in
trimming, too; novel ornaments and fancies
applied in ways that impress at once with
artistry; distinctly new lines in drapery—a
complete ideal that will surely prove a revela-
tion of personal and individual becomingness.
Prices are extremely moderate, too—on a par
with other Hats that are created of far less
desirable materials and lack all the style ele-
ments that make our Hats distinctive. Every
express adds new Hats to our showing. Visit
our Millinery Department and see what's what
in Fall Millinery.
Prices Range from $2.50 to $25
