travelling agent and correspon-
dent of the Galveston News was
in town yesterday soliciting
puffs from our merchants to ap-
pear on Sep 1st. The local
correspondent of the News in-
forms us that he has already
furnished a sketch of the coun-
ty, including Brenham.

house in the city of Brenham on Saturday,
