In the evening Mr. Wright
preached to it large audience—
the house being full. It was his
first appearance in the pulpit,
vet he came forward with all the
vany fro'd of a veteran. After
reading his text he went square
to work and delivered a vertf
good sermon; his words were ut-
tered in a clear and distinct voice
and without any hesitation,show-
ing that, he had thoroughly mas-
tered his subject. There was
but one opinion expressed in
regard to Mr. Wright, and that
was that he done remarkably
well.
