To regulate the €leungingofthe City of Bren-
ham .
He it ordained Hv the city council of the
city of lireiiliiiin, that every person owning
orreiiting premises within the cov|H>rate lim-
its of the city ol'Brenhain shall be required
to keep their yards, out lots and privies in a
cleanly and good sanitary condition
Ord .a, It shall he the duty of the city mar-
shal to inspect all premises within tne cor-
porate limito of the city of Brenham, and to
order the owner or occupant of any plane In
a llltliy or unhealthy condition to clean or
have tbe same cl»an«ed and put in a good san-
itary condition.
Ord. tf, Any person refusing to clean or

lots when onlerad to do so by the 'marshal
shall be fined in any sum not'less than live
and not more than one hundred dollars.
That this ordinance go into force and have
effect from and after its liassage.
4th, It shall be the duty of tho marshal
