Letters To
The Editor
Dear Mr. Taylor:
General Campaign
Chairman Bill Seay
has asked me to thank
you warmly for your
support during the suc-
cessful United Way
campaign.
As you no doubt real-
ize, it's important for
us to get the United
Way service message
to a maximum number
of citizens in the
Greater Dallas area.
As you also realize, a
large number of per-
sons rely on the cred-
ibility and immediacy
of the newspapers in
their areas. That's
why the cooperation of
the Cedar Hill Chron-
icle was especially
meaningful in the past
campaign.
The United Way a-
gencies, and the thou-
sands of folks who
benefit from their ser-
vices, certainly join in
this appreciation. Nor
is it trite to apply the
United Way slogan to
your efforts: "Thanks
to you, it's working."
Sincerely,
s/Larry Schulenburg
Director of Public
Relations
