IN SHOES WE ARE FIXED,
You need pay no advance unless you want to contribute a quarter or a half dollar to
dealer's private Home Orphanage fund. We will make the record on Shoes as we have
heretofore. In other words, our patrons will get the benefit of our early contracts. We are
expecting daily our large shipment of Drew Selby & Co.'s ladies' and misses fine shoes, and
also Crosett's men's fine shoes. Our Messrs. F. E. Mistrot and A. J. Wagner are in Boston
punching up manufacturers on contract orders. From Boston they go to New York
WATCH THE RESULT OF THE COMING SEASON.
There is generally fun on an advancing market, and as yon know we love fun. For prices to remain unchanged
in the face of conditions may look unrep^onable, as stated before. "We nipped her in the bud" and
WE SHALL SEE WHAT WE SHALL SEE.
We invite onr friends from Fayettef, Bnrleson, Austin, Lee, Grimes and Waller Counties to make Brenham their
trading point. You may get a fraction more for your cotton elsewhere on "promise to buy,'' whereas in this market
you are nobody's slave. You collect your money from regular spinner buyers and can either spend or keep it for
what rhey care. Furthermore, the town has the largest stocks between Austin and Houston and the livliest com'peti
tion in all lines of trade. We claim the best town in the state, with two first-class banks and money "bilin' over."
