| When 1 began to tako treatment
from Dr. Fanning it seemed as if
! my health was completely wrecked.
' Several doctors »aid 1 was in tho first
'stage of consumption, and I almost
despaired of ever being well again.
1 had for several years suffered
from general weakness and pain in
my back and left side. For the
last two years my ba«k had not
been free from pain a single day. I
suffered a great deal from indiges-
tion, dvspepsia and enlargement
j of tho liver and had had ca-
| tarrh of the throat and head for
I ten years. The catarrh had taken
| such an effect that I had sore throat
| most all the time, and my breath
! was really offensive to anyone that
was irf^-tiie room with mo. I hafd a
dry, hacking cough all the time and
nervous chills at night. In fact, my
I nervous system was completely
! prostrated and my face was almost
covered with the darkest, most un-
healthy looking blotches I ever saw
'on anyone's face. I was so thin and
weak I could scarcely walk three
blocks, and my appetite was entire-
ly gone. After six weeks of Dr.
Fanning's treatment I felt like a
new person altogether. I had
gainen twenty poiyids in weight,
had a splendid appetite, and my
complexion «as aa clear and healthy
as a ehild'u. f could walk two mile 1
without any pain, or even feeling
very tired. Now, after being at
home doing all my housework for
four months, I feel as well and
strong as I ever did ia my life. I
have not had a chill or any cough
since the first treatment. I never
feel a symptom of catarrh, and it
really seems ps if I have a new back
altogether. I feel as if I owe my
life to the Great Magnetic Healer.
I am personally acquainted with sev-
eral persons who were, it seems, al-
most miraculously cured by him,

Saint Vitus Dance*
Houston, Tex., April 18, 18'Jl—
Dear Dr. Fanning : I wish to add
my name to your long list of testi
rnonials. I had been troubled for
five years with St. Vitus' dance in
its worst form, rendering me power-
less to help myself, every muscle
and nerve twitching, could not keep
my hands aud feet still, often was
not able to feed myself; indeed, I
was in a most unhappy and misera-
ble condition. I tried some of the
best physicians in Houston, but
they gavs mo no relief, my trouble
only grew worse. Finally my
mother was advised to take me to
you, which she did, and in three
weeks of your wonderful magnetic
treatment I was entirely cured. I
cannot express the gratitude I feel
to you at being healed of this terri-
ble disease. It is now four years
ago since you cured me. I have
never had any return of my trouble

Sore and Weak Eyes.
Waco, Texas, Nov. 17, 1887.
Dr. Frank Fanning:
Deai; Sib:—I wish to add my name
to the list of suffqgars who have
testified to your wonderful power of
healing.
My eyes were left very weak by
an attack of measles in childhood,
and I have never been able to use
them for any length of time in read-
ing or sewing. During the past
few yoars, owing to ill health, they
have become very much worse. For
three months I was nearly blind, for
three weeks entirely so, having to
sit in a dark room with bandaged
eyes. A cou^pe of twelve treatments
under you has so completely cured
me that I can read, write and sew
without any discomfort to myself.
I feel deeply grateful for the cure,
and am anxious that others who
suffer as I did may know where to
find relief. Yours gratefully,

Dr. Frank Fanning . According to
promise, that at the expiration of six
months from time of treatment I
would write you, now do so, assur-
ing you that I enjoy perfect health.
October 11, 1888—1 was sudden-
ly seized with convulsions of the
most painful character. They return-
ed every other day, quite regularly
for about a month, then grew less
regular. Whilo suffering from these
fits my reason left me, I became un-
manageable, and it required the
united efforts of two strong persons
to control me, while my screams
could be heard a block away. After
a while I began to lose the use of
my left side and the sight of my
left eye was much impaired. The
skill of my medical attendaut was
unquestioned, and though ho ma-
terially relieved my suffering, the
paroxysms would return until treat-
ed by you six months ago. since
which time they have entirely
ceased, aud I do most unqualifiedly
believe that 1 am perfectly cured

thank you in the most heartfelt man-

Frank Fanning by this one cure,
has demonstrated his possession of
marvelous powers. This young lady,
for 11 months the subject of disease
which impelled her to a violence
which required two strong persons
to control, which gradually induced
paralysis and loss of sight, and
which baffled the ablest medical skill,
is restored to health in less than two
weeus' treatment, by the simple
laying on of hands, and is pro-
nounced by herself and friends, six
months afterward, perfectly cured.
This case is attested by six reputable
citizens, over their own signatures,
who say that they know the patient
"well and intimately,' The force of
testimony can go no farther, and
taken iu connection with other cures
performed by this magnetic healer,
equally well attested, prove him
without question a man most won-
derfully endowed by nature with
gifts of healing for suffering human-
ity.
No amount of criticism, no skep-
ticism of the mind, no prejudice cau
set asido or break the force of such
testimony as this. A man or woman
who would not believe in the won>
derful healing power possessed by
Frank Fanning on such evidence
would not believe though one rose
from the dead. Those who suffer
ann come to him for help are the
living epistles of his power to heal.
A Wonderful Cure-
To Dr. Frank FanniDg, Magnetic Healer:
San Antonio. Tex., April 7, 1888.
—Deak Sir.: Heartfelt gratitude,
no less than a sense of duty, prompts
me to express to you my deep ap-
preciation of the benefits I have do-
rived from your treatment. As I
have been so great a sufferer lor so
many years, and from such a com-
plication of female complaints, I am
not willing that you should leave
our city without writing you my
thanks. For fourteen years I have
suffered, and at last through God's
holy will and your superior gifts,
and your very kind and sympathetic
assistance, I am restored to my
former excellent health. Thanks,
yes, a thousand times, thanks, for
you have entirely cured me: me, who
was becoming a thoroughly dis-
heartened woman: cured me* of weak
ankles, sprained in childhood: of
catarrh of several years' standing,
one of my most serious ailments, and
from which I am now entirely re-
lieved; of female complaints in gen-
eral, as suppressed menstruation of
nine year's stauding, result of an
injury in childbirth, and from fall-
ing of the womb; also of kidney
troubles, heart disease, dropsy and
rheumatism in every part of my
body.
During the past nine years I have
been treated by ten physicians of
eminent repute in their profession,
and can truthfully say that I never
received any real benefit until you
came, some months since, under
your willing, able, untiring and
patient hands. Today I can attend
to ray household duties, entertain
company, ride, walk aud dance
(were I so inclined) at my pleasure,
without any pain or inconvenience.
Had .you only cured me ot my
catarrh, I could not ,sufficiently
thank you. How, then, can I thank
you for all ? I do thank you most
kindly, and wish you every earthly
success in your most exalted calling:
and when it pleasea Almighty God
to call you away may He reward you
with an eternity of unalloyed happi-
ness forever. This blessing, which

The Magnetic Wonder Perform* Wondere
on Other*.
Some days since the Light was in-
formed that a rather remarkable
case of rheumatism had been perma-
nently cured in a very short time by
Dr. Frank Fanning, and being de
sirous of obtaining the exact facts, a
call was made at the general office
of the San Antonio and Aransas
Pass railway company. Assistant
Treasurer C. S. Wheeling was in-
quired after and found in his office
on the fourth floor, commanding a
magnificent view of the north half
of the city. Gn being interrogated
concerning "the cure" Mr. Wheel
iug said he was glad of an opportu-
nity to Btate his case, as be felt like
telling every one who had suffered
aB be had that they might get re-
lief. His statement wan that he Lad
suffered some years with rheuma-
tism, and all remedies tried were of
no avail. In April, 1887, he waB ta-
ken down with a severe attack,
which, settling in his lower limbs,
confined him to the house for a
week. He had been in bed four
days, perfectly helpless, when Dr.
Fanning was called. After the first
treatment, which lasted only twen-
ty minutes, Mr. Wheeling was able
to get out of bed and walk out into
the adjoining room, the first time he
had moved a leg in four days. Four
treatments only were given, and at
the end of four days Mr. Wheeling
walked down to his office, and has
never been troubled with rheumatic
pains of any kind since. Gn being
asked how the recent damp weather
affected him, he said: 'T have not
felt the slightest symptoms of
rheumatism during the three years
almost elapsed since Dr. Fanning
laid bis hands on me. I regard the
result as little less than a miracle,
and I have spoken of it frequently
to all my friends."
Here was a man crippled, abso-
lutely helpless for four days, able
to walk after twenty minutes' treat-
ment, cured in four days, and has
stayed cured for nearly three years,
and cured by the laying on of
magnetic bands. If this is not a
miracle what would it have been
called 1800 years ago?—San An-
tonio Light.
Lung Trouble.
Houston, Texas. May 1G, 1888.—
Dr. Frank Fanning, Magnetic Heal-
er—Dear Sir: Before you leave us
permit me to express in Ihis feeble
manner my gratitude to you for
your "help in the time of need.''
Less than three weeks ago you
were called to the bedside of my af-
flicted wife. You found her suf-
fering with severe lung trouble and
night sweats and a complication of
troubles, from which medical skill
had long pince despaired of relieve
ing her, and lo, what a change!
Aches aud pains that had racked
her poor little body for mouths and
years defying treatment, and which
had robbed her of flesh and strength,
even to the verge of the grave, lied
before your life impartiug touch.
Complaints of a serious nature gave
way under your health imparting
power. Vitality has has been infused
into sluggidh organs, which now
perform their functions with marvel-
ous regularity; night hours of wake-
fulness or nervous startlings have
been converted into peaceful health,
promoting slumber: and blessed
hope now reigns iu a household
which before was filled with un-
certainty aud gloom.
Before bidding you adieu, I would
express my admiration for your
many noble traits of character; and
thank you for your uniform kindness
and delicate but ready sympathy.
I trust a kind providence will pro-
long your days, that you may con*
tinue to be a blessing to your af-
flicted fellow creatures.
With sentiments of highest es-
teem. I am gratefully yours,

I have lived and am well known in
this county for 36 years. Some 30
yearB ago I first was troubled with
rheumatism and neuralgia. It grew
worse every year, and when I called
on Dr. Fanning my neck was so stiff
I had to turn my body around so as
to be able to see. It was impossible
to move my neck at all. The doctor
took out all pain and relaxed my
muscles so I could work my neck
all around, and has made me feel
young and vigourous again. Now
all is changed, and for a man of 60
years I feel more like one of 40. I
will be pleased to answer any one
who may wish lo know anything of
my case, or of Dr. Fanning's wonder-

from Cincinnati to San Autonio,
Btopped in New Orleans, aud beiug
a personal friend of mine 1 asked
him to stop and see my family there.
Ho accepted the invitation and
called at home, <>37 Caroudelet
street, and while engaged in pleas-
ant converse witl. the family, no-
ticed a disfigurement under tho
chin of my cousin aud asked what
it was. She replied that she did
not kuow, that she had been to see
sever si doctors and some said it was
a tumor, while others were equally
positive that it was a wen, and that
the only way to remove it was by an
operation and have it cut out.
'•Being a rather handsome young
lady she was willing to stand almost
anything to remove such a promi-
nent disfigurement, as it looked like
a huge tumorous formation hanging
under her chin, preventing her from
buitoniug the collar oi her dress
and making it necessary tor her to
wear a scarf or shawl to hide it.
"After consulting her aunt (my
mother) she underwent two opera-
tions at the Totiro Infirmary, with-
out any apparent relief, and at tho
time Dr. Fanning visited the house
had an engagement with the doctors
there for another operation to tako
place two days after, those per-
formed two years previous aud ouo
year before proving unsuccessful.
Dr. Fanning examined it and said :
'Why, 1 believe I cau cute that with-
out any cutting, aud could do it in
a few days if I had time to stop
over here : but let me try and I will
see what I can do for it right now.'
He manipulated it for about five
minutes, then said . 'T^iere, now, it
will go away and never bother you
again.' Neither the young lady nor
my fol£s placed any credence iu his
statement at the time, but the next
morning there was a change that
astonished them all. Tho tumor,
wen, or whatever it was, was half
gone, aud three days after tlure was
no sign of it but tho scars of the
two previous operation*, aud though
it will be two years iu May next,
there has been no more sign of it,
and the operation that was to tako
place two days after has never taken
place, aud no doubt the doctors at
the Touro Infirmary are still wait-
ing for her to keep her appointment.
"If anyone doubts the truth of
this statement they are (it perfect
liberty to write Miss Henrietta
Zwible, 073 Carondelet street, New
Orleans, La., care of Thomas L.
Freeland. superintendent Crescent
News and Hotel company.''
The genuineness and authenticity
of these facts above stated by Capt.
Freeland are unquestioned, and, all
things considered. s!nnq> this opera-
tion as one of the mont marvelous
on record. Here was a tumor so
large that it prevented the lady's
dress from closing, obliged her in
the seclusion of her own Lome to
keep it covered with a 'kerchief : it
had been operated upon by the sur-
geons for two successive years, re-
turning each time larger than be-
fore, was now on the eve of another
operation, and yet was removed by
the laying on of magnetic hands in
five minutes, aud remains cured at
the expiration of twenty months,
leaving only the old surgeons' scars.
Comment on such a cure as this is
unnecessary. The hands that per-
formed it must hold Nature's power
of healing in a miraculous degree.
Dr. Fanning will be at the Ex-
change hotel, Brenham, February
25th, for two weeks.

I have been badly troubled with
neuralgia, stiff neck, rheumatism in
shoulders and back, and most pain-
ful cramps in lower limbs for over
twenty years. 1 pronounce my cure
by Frank Fanning, the magnetic
healer, most wonderful. If the
readers of this are sufferers they
should try Dr. Fanning at once.
Yours, for relief of suffering,

human to refuse the sick a knowledge

so full of Blessing. As Thomas K.
Beecher so pertinently said, "I am
glad that the doctor cured him. I nut
glad the doctor put it in the paper that
he could cure hfm, and if the doclor is
certain that he can cure such diseases
and does not put It in the paper. 1 am
sorry." ^
