Liverpool shows sales of 10.000 bales
prices reduced 1-16; arrivals closed
dull, 1-64. The crop reports as pub-
lished today are on the whole good.
Port receipts thus far this week 10,-
752 against 21,967 lasf vear. Estimated
receipts at this port ni-friorrow 1,300 to
1,500 against 1,895 last year. Both
New York and this market show a
decline of 2 to 3 points on yesterday's.
Our New York house wires that it is
commonly reportes that a prominent
house is largely long of the summer
months; this created a certain un-
easiness and brought about a five
point advance at one time during tho
day. The amount of spot cotton in
this market unsold does not exceed
90,000 bales of which some 30,000 bales
Is held by about six factors; so when
we consider the spot position hero
together with the fact that contracts
are selling under obtainable spot
prices, sales of the summer would at
least appear undesirable. Our spot
Shepard, in a private letter to his I market closes easy at 1-16 decline
brother-in-law, Lewis It. Bryan, of sales 1,000 bales; sales to-morrow 200
Yalasco, speaks of the numerous I bales.

Eddie Ware In Jail.
Sheriff Teague eame in Tuesday
night with Eddie Ware, against whom
there is a warrant charging him with
complicity with Elizabeth Brennan

der of her husband, Louis Brennan, a

The circumstances against them are
