About five jeais ago Mrs. Yimer was attacked with a violent
cough, pain in the chctt and side and symptoms of approaching con
sumptun. JJunng the intervals from that time until February last
she had been treated by ciniuciit Plnsicians, fiom Utica, ijylvama,
Horner, Ifoihim and Newark, and with oply partial relief of tht
most urgent Bymptoms. About one yar ago she caught n violent
cold which seated upon the lungs, producing a violent aggravation
ofall her previous sjmptoms. Htrl'hysicians weresentlor, and2c
spite ihcir best efforts she began rapidly to sink under her discise
Cough, Expectorant, Hectic, together with night sweats, soon re
duced her to a complete skeleton. In February last her attending

to be beyond lhe reach of medical means, and expressed then opinion
that she cuid survive but a short time one or two weeks at the far-

ly able to artn ulate except in a whimper Her daily paroxysms ol
coughing w ould last her uninterruptedly from three to four hours,
and so severe were (hey, that we did exp(ct thatevery paroxysm
would be the last. The phvsieians in cjune! proiiounicd her

incurably diseased. It was at the last extremity, that we happened
to obtain a pamphlet describing Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry,
as applicable to Lu'ig affections. We ai'mtdntcly sent to on anu
procured a bottle, and commenced its use advening by giving her
une teatpoonful, and such w'as the surprisng effect that she wa
able,to pass a comfortable night's rest, wiihodt experiencing any par

last summer has done the entire wo-k ofthe lanvrij-.
After thclait attack ofMrs Wirricr, ouryoung-st child, then anin-

same symptoms ot its mother, and sectng-the happy effects ol the
Balsam, in the case of the it other, we Were disposed to make a trial
of it on the child and was attended with the same perfect success.
Theabove statcmentcaii be attested by ocr physicians as well as

For the Removal and Permanent Cute
OF ALL DISEASES ARISING FROM AN IMPUUE STATE OF THE BLOOD, OR

IF we read the history ol Disorders we arc astonisheA that

die. And yet in fact nearly all diseases have a common ori-
gin, viz: in lhe or&ans which prepare and modify the blood,
with a remedy, diresitd to the seatol disease, will remove a host
of its phenomena. It is the peculiar characteristic of SdXids's
