TEMPLE TRADE
EXCURSIONISTS.
Two hundred strong, members
of the Temple Chamber of Com-
merce and others, were in Bart-
lett Wednesday afternoon on
their third annual trade excur-
sion. Every manufacturing con-
cern, wholesale house and indus-
try of that growing 'city was rep-
resented, and they were indeed
a jolly set. The coached of the
special train, which carried the
excursionists, were decorated
and the Temple Concert band
added to the attraction. Supt.
$, K. Hull, of -the Santa- Fe rail-
way, accompahied the excursion-
ists in his special car.
Temple. is one of the mdst pro-
gressive cities in Texas, and its
citizens never do things half way.
The Tribune regrets that the
excursionists were delayed in ar-
riving here on schedule time, be-
cause many of our business men
an citizens did not have the
pleasure of meeting the jovial,
wide-awake bunch. Come again :
ve are with you, neighbor.
