farmers are through sowing wheat.
It is thought the freeze last week al-
most ruined the late cotton crop in this
community.
A few of our farmers billed hogs last

Rev W A Knight, the new pastor of
the Baptist church at this place, arriv-
ed this week from Marlin. The Baptist
people are building a parsonage for him
which will be completed in about ten
days.
Rev L G White is attending confer-
