and hence we do not wish to limit ourselves
to the exact construction herein set forth; but,
Having fully described our invention, what
5 we claim as new, and desire to secure by Let-
ters Patent, is-
1. A sand-flue and netting cleaner, com-
prising a sand-receptacle, a discharge-pipe, a
pipe leading from the receptacle to the dis-
io charge -pipe and connecting said parts to-
gether for conducting sand to the discharge-
pipe, an injector-nozzle, and means for con-
trolling the discharges through said parts.
2. A sand-flue and netting cleaner, consist-
15 ing of a sand-receptacle having an opening in
its bottom, an injector-nozzle, a pipe leading
from the opening in the receptacle, to the
nozzle, a valve for controlling said opening
for the discharge of sand, an air or steam sup-
20 ply hose or pipe and a valve or stop-cock for
regulating a passage of air or steam there-
through.
3. The combination with a sand-receptacle
having an opening in its bottom, a pipe lead-
25 ing therefrom, a valve and means for control-
ling the movements of said valve, of an in-
jector-nozzle to which said pipe leads, a dis-
charge-pipe leading from said injector-nozzle,
an air or steam supply pipe and a stop-cock
30 for controlling the passage of air or steam
therethrough.4. The combination with a sand-receptacle,
the bottom of which is in two planes with an
inclining portion leading from one to the other,
the lower plane of the bottom having an open- 35
ing therein, a valve for controlling said open-
ing, and a pipe leading therefrom, of an in-
jector-nozzle to which said pipe leads, a dis-
charge-pipe leading from said injector-nozzle,
a hose, a connection between said hose and 40
injector-nozzle, and a stop-cock in said con-
nection for regulating the supply or passage
of air or steam therethrough.
5. A portable sand-flue and netting cleaner
comprising a sand-flue receptacle, a discharge- 45
pipe, and injector-nozzle, all connected to-
gether, and a valve for controlling the dis-
charge from the receptacle to the injector-
nozzle.
