Lee Brothers WIM Animal Shows Will
Introdi/ee Many New and Strange
Acts Friday, September 24
The remarkable and complete col-
lection of trained wild animal actors,
comprising the most important speci-
mens of zoology, assembled in the
wild beasts’ performance of Lee
Brothers Wild Animal Show, which
will exhibit, in Shamrock on Frida/,
September 24, has never been equaled
in the history of the world. No
corner of the globe has been con-
sidered too remote to make this
collection the most unique on earth.
Chief among these wonderful
creatures is a hybrid lion-tiger, a
magnificent animal of feline grace
and tumble power, with all the
peculiarities of both lion and cig>4,
but wearing the ‘igcr'.i stripes upoi
the lion’s skin. One of the most
important groups is composed of two
lions, three Bengal tigers, two India
leopards, two pumas, two enormous
Polar bears, and the singular hybrid
lion-tiger. Here, too, we are con-
fronted with the incredible spectacle
of six different species and the afore-
mentioned remarkable inter-mixture
of the two of them, each naturally
the instinctive, implacable foe of the
others, an some of them hitherto'
consideration for the luxurious com
forts of their masters form soft
living couches of themselves and in-
vite his confidence by opening their
terrible blood-red mouths for the
temporary insertion, of his trusting
head.
it would reouire pages to tell
advance all the startling novelties
introduced in Lee Bros. Wild Animal
Show, which, besides the many train
ed wild animal features, has domestic
animals, vastly superior to any
organization now traveling.
