Mrs. Eusie Turner will seek | I

ncr-up Marguerite Cox. The two
finalist: reached ihei, berths on j
Friday. Tee off time today is!
1:30.
The former title holder is a
well known figure in the county
womc ,'s tournaments. In 1941
:i<io she won her first title and came
back in the 1942 to lose in the ti- i
nab . In 1943 she again took home
Hie title. Last year, her today's,
opponent, lost to Mrs. Russell 1
Barnes in the finals.
On Friday in her match with j
ait.: S Graham. Mrs. Turner was hit -
dug the ball quite well. Stic was
lu :g off the toe with her woods;
op,iB and was putting consistently. On
number four she had a birdie four j
on the man's par five hole. She j
alaj turned in a 47 on the outgoing
uti-: nine and was only four over par
’r‘ o.i the first six on the back nine.
Marguerite Cox shot into the;
finals with a hard earned victory 1
over Helen Rogeis by the count i
of 3 up 2. Both ladies were play-
ing good golf. The match today
is a toss up with Mrs. Turner hav-
ing a slight edge because of her
outstanding record in former tour-
