How busy can one week be?
Between the convention and the
encephalitis epidemic, and tend-
ing to matters pertaining to the
garage, this struggling reporter
has had trouble getting any work
done. To add to the confusion,

speech, a little possum came up
on the patio which set up a

the time we got the pooch back
in the house so she couldn’t catch
the possum, the speech was
nearly over. But Thursday night
all was quiet and we enjoyed
the final night of the convention.

After the wedding reception at
the Antlers Hotel, the newlyweds
left for California. The new Mrs.
Sewell is a Texas girl and was
graduated from Texas Women’s
University at Denton The groom
is a graduate of the University of
Texas.
My apologies indeed to my
next door neighbors—the Wien-
ers. How “Melvin” turned out
to be “Max”, I cannot answer
but “Melvin” is the correct name
of the head of the house of
Wiener.
