Entertain
14 Children
Girls Scout Troop 539, compos-
ed of ninth grade Johnston Jr
High School Girls, gave a Christ-
mas Party for 14 children in the
Special Education Class at Staf-
ford last Saturday afternoon.
The Girl Scouts drove to Staf-
ford to pick up the guests and
brought them to the WUlow Water
Hole where the party was held.
The horrible rain of that Satur-
day could not dim the brightness
of the gaiety inside nor the smiles
of the youngsters who enjoyed
the cookies baked by the Scouts
and served with punch. Each youn-
gster also received a regular
Christmas stocking filled with all
kinds of goodies to delight the
heart of a child.
The following Scouts brought
their guitars and sang Christmas
and folk songs. Cynthia Williams,
4814 Waynesboro, Jo Helen Mey-
4810 O’Meara, Paula Conley,
4828 Creekbend, Vicky Zinkgraf,

ble, 4415 O’Meara.
Mrs. Richard A. Conley, 4322

539 and the Co-Leader is Mrs.

ra.
