for a Sunday School and B. Y.

At 10 o’clock, the regular time
for the Sunday School, there will
be a nice program rendered in
connection with the regular les-
son. At 11 o’clock R. F. Nelson
of Gorman will make an address
on Sunday School work, and we
wish tp urge a large attendance
at this hour to hear this good
Sunday School man speak.

the Union, Prof. Raymond
Reeves and Rev. E. L. Springer
i
will make Sunday School ad- !
dresses.
On the 4:30 west bound train
will arrive about fifty or sixty
members of the Gorman B. Y.
P. U. who will remain over till
the midnight train and will have
charge of the program for the
Union rally beginning at 7:30.
Their speakers will be Rev. E.
D. Morgan, that eloquent and
consecrated young pastor of
their church, and Chas. E.
Reeves the hustling president of
the Union. Besides these ad-
dresses they will have some
readings, songs, etc., for the
entertainment of theaudiance.
All the program of the day

The Baptist Fifth Sunday
Meeting.
The Fifth Sunday Meeting of
the Cisco Baptist Association
which convened at Ellison
it was very reluctantly that the
Board accepted the resignation.
Arrangments were made to se-
cure the small junount that was
lacking, so the missionary was
Springs near Gorman last Thurs- paid up to date. Bro. Goodman
day was very well attended con-
■idering the rainy weather. All
parts of the program were ably
discussed and enjoyed by all.
The Executive Board held its
meeting Saturday afternoon.
President J. L. Mayes having
moved out of the Association, W
T. Curtis was elected president
for the unexpired term. Rev.
C. R. Goodman tendered his res-
ignation as missionary to take
effect at the next Meeting on
the fifth Sunday in January, and
will serve on till the meeting in
January and it is hoped that he
can be induced to continue the
work the reminder of the Asso-
cittional year. He is a good
missionary and is doing fine
work. The next Fifth Sunday
Meeting will be held in Carbon
beginning on Thursday before
the Fifth Sunday in January,
1909.
The Ellison Springs people are
fine folks and they royally enter-
tained all the visitors, even came
to the train at Gorman to meet
; us all and carried us out to their
s community. The writer and
lady were entertained in the
hospitable homes of Bro. Poweli
and Bro. C. R. Goodnough, and
we are longing for another op-
portunity to visit them. That
hustling young man, Bill H.
Powell, deserves much credit for
his untiring and faithful work in
seeing that all the visitors were
properly cared for.
A. D. Durham is preparing to
| move to Gorman. Dr. Ghormley
will move into his residence.
E. H. Boyett had business at
Gorman Wednesday.

The day of waiting for BUSINESS
to step In at the door and SUCCESS
to blow in at the window is past.
We must go out and corral BUSI-
