Printing Office Rules

And
In orfer to better systematize
the Work in our shop and be
able to get the paper out on
time it is necessary for us to
make known our rules and let
certain information reach our
patrons.
RULES.
Programs, church notices, and
any other kind of public notices
that we are accustomed to pub-
lishing without charge must
reach the printing office by 9
o'clock Monday morning to
published in the issue of that
week.
Other matter, changes for
ads, etc., should reach the office
on Monday, and not later than
9 cf'ch ck on Tuesday morning to
insure publication (or change if
regular ad) in the issue of that
week.
There is some matter that
should reach the office on Friday
to get in the issue of the next
week, such as annual financial
statements of the city council,
and any other articles that are
out of tiie ordinary run that we
have each week.
and get the paper out a little
late too.
We don’t mind lots of work
and if at any time you connot
conform to our rules in getting
copy to us we would be glad to
accommodate you when it is
possible; provided you will speak
to us and have the understand-
ing at the time.
The dry weather does not stifle
the faith of the Hank of Carbon,
judging, from the ad they have
in this issue.
Arrangements are being made
bp to start the building of a Pres-
byterian church building in a
few days.
Some of the boys are talking
of naving a yearling riding for
the entertainment of the Waco
business men when they come
here on April 22nd.

no less the home of my “child-1

very remarkable ever happened)
that would make those days!
memorable in the annals of my
recol’ections except such days as
I would “frame up” with my
hook and lino, target, “nigger
shooter” and a pocket full of
angel worms, and take the near-
est route to Savannah creek.
Those days were the happiest of
all my “periodical” existence.
If there is any such thing as
being in the second heaven of
happiness it. must be in our
childhood days. Wouid it not
be a pleasant life if those days
oF “bliss” would prove to be an
everlasting reality, that we
might never be cast back on the
world to form any new ties, nev-
er reeieve any jarring shocks,
bitter disappointments, and
other troubles that makes life
burdensome and abhorred.
It is impossible to even at-
tempt to compute all the events
