Boy Accidently Shot
Daniel Gillis, son of Mrs. Gil-
lis of this place, was shot by his
playmate Charley Sims last Wed-
nesday evening. The boys were
seuffleing over a 22 calaber rifle
to see which would shoot at a
bird, they having only one car-
tridge. The gun was discharg-
ed and the ball passed through
his left eye and lodging in his
neck. The eye is completely
gone. The boy. is resting very
well although his wound is of a
serious nature. This is one of
the many accidents that you
read of every day. We could
fill the columns of our paper
with just such happenings as'
the above, still parents- will let
their boys have the weapons and
the results, nine t’mes out of
ten, are accidents happen sim-
ilar to this one.

Sure
Way
to have money is to save it. The one sure way
to save it is by depositing it in a responsible bank
You will then be exempt from the annoyance of
having it burn holes in your pockets, and aside
from the fact that your money will be safe from
theft, the habit of saving tends to the establish-
ment of thrift, economy, discipline and a general
understanding of business principals essential to
your success.
This Banks responsibility is Half a Hill ion
Dollars, always having on hand funds to
loan for legitimate purposes and leaves nothing
undone for the care and protection of its depos-
itors and to those wishing to establish relations
with a safe, strong bank, we heartilyj extend our
services.
