esiimated at 15,009.
The Herald says that Dallas is
crowded with strangers taking in
the fair.

Three prisoners made their escape
lrom the Dallas jail on the 19ti
while somo necessary cleaning up
was beintr done to their cells.
The hide irade of Graham will
reach one hundred and fifty thou-
sand dollars this year.
Some Pennsylvanians are to erect
a woolen mill in Graham pretty
soon.
Sportsmen from England, St.
Louis, Chicago, Louisville and Dal
las, are to take a grand hunt soon
in Young county.
Indians are again reported raid-
ing on the Nueces. They were seen

A thief named Holmes robbed a
young man named Fort, at the Old

day. He was arrested and held to
await the action of the grand jury
then in session.
The work goes bravely on. Some
Dallas thieves recently entered a
store at that plaeo and robbed it ot
one hundred and ninety dollars in
money. They are poor men and
cau ill afford 10 sustain the loss.
A Philadelphia chemist while act-

has been seriously ill ever since.

grades of the basket willow they

A manufacturer assorts that fully
5000 articles are constructed from
willow' shoots—chairs, sofas, and
baskets being the most common.
