The charming comic opera of
the Little Tycoon, was presented
Thursday night at the opera
house. It was the formal open-
ing of that temple of amusement.'
A large audience of Denison en-;
thusiasts greeted the amateurs, j
The performance as a whole was |
good and smooth. It is seldom the
people of Denison are favored |
with a more delightful entertain-]
ment. A most discriminating taste
was manifested in their roles.
The whole performance was in-
spired by Mrs. Sidney Elkins, and
if the opera was n splendid suc-
cess, it was a’tributable to her un-
tiring efforts and to her ablo
corps of assistants who charmingly
sustained their parts. The opera
was a gratifying success financial-1
ly and artstically.

same as in Sherman. This is the |
best system in the country, with(
