Norwood boys crew a bye tho
first round and played Reydon in
the quarter-finals and turned In
one of their top performances ot
he year by blasting Reydon, 70-52.

Norwood went into the finals by
downing a good Ron team, 52-43.
Saturday afternoon. Norwood led,
20-11, the first quarter with the
teams battling on even terms the
rest of !he way. Stevenson again
led Norwood scoring with 18
points, followed by Lawrence Simp-
son's 12. Carl Jones was high for
Ron with 11.
The score at the end of the
first quarter was 13-7 with Nor-
wood leading and 27-23 Gould at
the half. Gould led 45-33 but wdth
Norwood pressing desperately the
final score read 58-53.
Lawrence Simpson turned in his
best performance of the year by
getting 21 points. Jimmy Breeding
was next with 11.
