the annual District Camporee on

Friday night through Saturday.

Forty consultants from eight
neighboring cities participated.

.W.. had just arrived prior to the beginning of the day’s
program. Mrs. E. Claude Montgomery, who has been in
charge of the popular event for several years, welcomed
him. Mr. Johnston, president of North American Tech-
nical Institute, traveled the greatest distance to attend
the Career Dav, and spoke to one of the student groups
on electronics technology. He left with Mrs. Montgomery
entrance examination forms which she will be glad to
give to any boys in the area.

1. The Hospital Will Be A 42-Bed Facility With Single Rooms
Large Enough To Add Additional Beds In An Emergeny.
2. 5000 Square Foot Basement For Storm Cellar, Fallout Shel-

3. The Average Business Would Pay $20.00 Per Year Tax.
4. The Farmer With An Average Quarter Would Pay $5.00 Per
Year. The Average Rancher With A Section Of Grass Land
Would Pay $9.00 Per Year.
5. The Average Home Owner Would Pay $5 to $10 Per Year.
The Above Estimates Are Based On County Valuations Only. City And School luxes Mould
Not Be Affected In Any Way.
6. The Hill-Burton Money Of $345,000 Is An Outright Grant
And Not To Be Paid Back.
7. Rill-Burton Has Nothing To Do With The Operation Of The
Hospital.
8. The Present Hospital Does Not Meet Minimum Standards
Required By The State Department Of Health.
9. The Bonds, $365,000, Are To Be Set Up On A 15 Year Pay

On Friday morning a brunch was
held at the Wrangler Restaurant
honoring Mrs. Goodpasture.
