This is the second extension of
».’me granted for the report,” Mr
Monkhouse explained, “because of
the* late arrival of the* necessary
forms.”
These report;- must be filed by all
persons who s-il new or used tires
and tubes and retreaded or recapped
tire-s or whatever kind, not mounted
on a vehicle. The purpose of thu
inventory is to provide a fund of in-
formation to a-sist in charting the
future course of rationing.
"Similar reports must be made by
each tire seller in each calendar
quarter hereafter," Mr. Monkhouse
explained, "but in the future, the
reporting forms will have to be ob
tained from our local board office
by the tire dealer. They will not
be mailed to the dealer hereafter
as they were for this first report."
